Communication, Speech and Performance Teachers Incorporated (CSPT Inc.) is the largest professional association for teachers of Speech and Drama, Communication, Speech and Performance in Australia.
We support members through advocacy, professional development and access to services such as members' forums, a referral service, public liability insurance, a quarterly newsletter and teaching resources.
Looking for a teacher? Wanting to develop confident, clear and engaging communication skills? Access our referral service which connects students to teachers. We can help you find a speech and drama teacher, public speaking, communication, voice or acting coach. Our members have varying specialties and operate in schools, studios and remotely throughout Queensland and Australia.
History of the CSPT Inc.
CSPT Inc. was originally established in 1939 as the Art of Speech Association. It subsequently became the Queensland Art of Speech Association, the Speech and Drama Teachers' Association of Queensland Inc. and then in 2015, the Communication, Speech and Performance Teachers Incorporated.
